From the Kitchen of BWASB

Today was a baking day, I have made 6 loaves of banana bread and I tried and modified this recipe:
Pumpkin Things (cookies)
1c brown sugar
1c white sugar
1c butter
2ish cups straight canned pumpkin
2tsp vanilla
2c white flour
1½c noatmeal
½ c oats
2tsp b.powder
2tsp b.soda
At least 2½ tsp cinnamon
1/8ish tsp nutmeg and cloves (to taste)
½ tsp salt

Cream sugar, butter and vanilla. Add pumpkin and salt. Beat well. Add the dry ingredients. Beat well. If the dough is dry add 1-2tsp of milk. If you have a Pampered Chef cookie dough scoop thing, use that, otherwise just use spoons.
Drop them on to an ungreased cookie sheet and bake them at 375 for about 12 minutes. They should be two shades of golden brown darker than the top of the cookie. Let them sit on the cookie sheet for one or two minutes before putting them on the cooling rack. Enjoy!

Okay, I'm sure there are those of you who think that 'noatmael' is a typo. It is not. You take 2c oats and 1/2c of ground flax seed, toss it in a blender with a 1/2 cup of nuts-I used hazelnuts, pecans, and walnuts- then you grind them till the mix reaches the constancy of flour. Voila, noatmeal. I also took a tablespoon of noatmeal and three of water and zapped it for about a minute- or rather till it got gooey- added some sugar and it was quite tasty!

Alrighty then!

The video's pretty bloody, but I bet you'll like the song.
Then send me pumpkin bread.
